  • 10:45am – Te Arawa Fisheries long-term vision and our involvement in aquaculture research (Roku Mihinui, Peter Rice)
  • 10:55am – Marae-based aquaculture background (Te Rerekohu Tuterangiwhiu)
  • 11:00am – Introduction of Te Kahui Aio Cawthron team and relevant research (Heni Unwin)
  • 11:10am – Introduction of Cawthron + overview of Climate Adapted Finfish research programme + Adaptation Pathways wananga 25th & 26th March (Leigh Howarth)
  • 11:30am – Begin species valuation exercise
  • 1:00pm – Lunch
  • 1:30pm – Finalise species valuation exercise
  • 2:30pm – Summarise
  • 3:00pm – Close
The species valuation exercise is a hands-on opportunity to give vital feedback to this research. It will be facilitated by the Te Arawa Fisheries and Cawthron team. Any involvement in this exercise is voluntary.
