Last week we launched our new Aka Rākau carbon Forest Offset Programme, a key part of our Ka Pu Te Ruha, Ka Hao te Rangatahi climate change strategy to practically lower emissions across our group and offsetting these emissions through planting new forests on Te Arawa lands.

Almost immediately we have received strong interest from Te Arawa landowners wanting to understand the detail of the programme and how they can participate. These kōrero are live and ongoing now towards planting our first forest (s) in the winter of 2021 (8 months).
