TKOTA & TAFG will be holding its 2024-2025 Annual General Meeting at:
Whakaue Marae, Maketū
Friday, 17 July 2026 from 5.00pm.
All whānau are warmly invited to attend. Kai will be available.
The AGM will include an overview of the Group’s 2024–2025 performance, financial highlights, iwi development initiatives, and strategic priorities for 2025–2026 as outlined in our latest Annual Report, which can be accessed below. Hard copies of the Annual Report will also be available on the day.
Highlights to be presented include the maturation of our Te Moana-a-Toi Iwi Aquaculture efforts and Project Tangaroa, the continued reorganisation of Bay Packers, and a Group surplus of $591,000 for the year, with total assets of $43.4 million.
The agenda will be made available prior to the hui and a link to watch online will be made available closer to the event.
This year’s hui follows the successful passage of amendments to the Trust Deed and the first TKOTA elections held through our new iwi register — both significant milestones reported on in the Annual Report.
