Te Arawa Fisheries is looking for an exceptional person to join the team as a Business and Systems Development Officer.
The purpose of this role is to provide the leadership for iwi development activities, support iwi educational programmes and oversee Health and Safety and Environment Management Systems.
Some main tasks of the role include:
1. Iwi Development
2. Health & Safety and Environmental Leadership
3. Fisheries Partnership Co-ordination
4. Support the Punga Education Trust
The ideal candidate will have the following skills and competencies:

Great communication: The ability to communicate clearly and concisely, varying communication style depending upon the audience
Detail oriented: Excellent attention to detail and written skills when communicating with others, both internally and externally

Time Management/Organisation: Accomplish objectives effectively within time frame given and carry out administrative duties in an efficient and timely manner
Te Arawa Fisheries is looking for a candidate who has a professional approach, confident manner and positive approach to change. Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint is essential.
