We were proud to be among the best of the Rotorua business community this weekend for the annual business awards. Te Arawa Fisheries was extremely proud to be a finalist in four categories.
A huge congratulations to all the winners! Every finalist in this year’s awards is proof of the innovation, experience and business acumen we have in our rohe.
While Te Arawa Fisheries did not win our categories, we remain incredibly proud of the mahi we do for our shareholders, iwi and hāpori every day.
There were no other finalists from the aquaculture sector represented in the awards and we were pleased to have held our own against a wide range of industry finalists in our category, including retail, tourism, construction, engineering and manufacturing.
The Rotorua Business Awards are a great opportunity to benchmark ourselves as a tribally-owned aquaculture business against other businesses and industry leaders, so we can continue to grow and deliver significant benefit and great outcomes to our shareholders.
