Since our 2018 co-purchase of Bay Packers, Te Arawa Fisheries has seen the value in the Tauranga asset which is now on a strategic growth mission that will provide flow-on benefits to the Te Arawa Fisheries Group.
Nestled in the industrial area of Mount Maunganui, Bay Packers Direct Fresh Fish shop is located at 5 Tyne Street and has all your fresh kaimoana needs, including fish heads for tangihanga.
The store’s operations are led by General Manager, Joe Kouwenhoven, and day-to-day operations are managed by seasoned Te Arawa Fresh Store Manager, Anthony Palmer.
Our traditional marinated Hī mussels are produced onsite and are available in store, along with other delicacies such as salmon collars, smoked kahawai, Straits kina, Pacific oysters and a variety of fresh fish. The store is open Tuesdays and Thursday from 9am to 2pm.
