Te Arawa Fisheries and the Kuku Mussels team at the University of Otago have teamed up to create three new flavoured mussel products.
Now we need your help by filling out this short survey. Your answers will aid the Food Science students in determining what Kiwi seafood lovers like and want out of their mussels.
Our collaboration is a result of the science and technology partnership Te Arawa Fisheries – as part of Ngā Iwi i Te Rohe o Te Waiariki – have with the University of Otago.
The survey results will also be utilised by Te Arawa Fisheries to better align our own mussel products and explore new flavours for our fast-growing Hī brand.
While at this stage the project is purely educational, there may be an opportunity to develop the new flavours into a product ready for supermarket shelves.
