Te Arawa Mahi, the work arm of Te Arawa Fisheries, has an exciting opportunity for a new Operations Assistant to join the team.
Creating employment opportunities for our whānau underpins everything we do at Te Arawa Mahi.
In order to continue growing this side of the business, it’s imperative we have a dedicated team at the helm.
The right candidate for this role will have:
- Great communication
- Ability to self-manage
- Previous computer skills
- Experience using Excel, Xero, Outlook (desired but not necessary)
- Client engagement
Some key tasks of the role include:
- Administration
- Payroll
- Assisting with new business and managing existing clients
- Candidate enrolment/registration
- Organising shift work
- Flexible working hours
The Operations Assistant will report to the Te Arawa Mahi Manager, Richie Ngatai, and together you will oversee business operations.
As the position involves collaboration and liaising with different clients and employees to increase overall work performance, strong attention to detail and exceptional business acumen is needed.
