New survey to help determine Māori trade needs

Māori trade advocacy group, Te Taumata, is calling on Māori business leaders to take part in a survey to determine their trade needs and aspirations as Aotearoa and the world moves on from COVID.

Te Taumata’s role is to help open doors for our Māori and whānau businesses and exporters, like Te Arawa Fisheries, to connect and reconnect to global markets.

Government is planning a series of trade missions in 2022 and it is important Māori businesses are strongly represented in the negotiations.

If you are currently exporting, rely on importing or have an interest/aspiration to start exporting, Te Arawa Fisheries encourages you to complete this short survey  about your organisation, your products or services, your target markets and how ready you are to export.

Every business that registers interest and completes the survey will go into the draw to win one of two prize packs:

$100 worth of Hī mussels

$100 worth of Tohu wine from the Rewa range

The survey closes on Wednesday 27 April, 2022. The lucky winners will be drawn on Friday 29 April.
