If you think this is you (or somebody you know), we invite you to consider standing or nominating somebody in the 2022 Te Kotahitanga o Te Arawa Waka Fisheries Trust election.

Our Trust guides Te Arawa Fisheries and its entities in its new ka pu te ruha strategy to navigate the challenges of COVID and climate change and to transition the group from a passive strategy to an active strategy.

The Group is especially focused on growing up the value chain into large-scale aquaculture, and expanding our operations globally, enabling our efforts with world class science, research and technology.

There are 10 seats on the Trust,  each representing a different iwi in the Te Arawa waka.

Ehara taku toa i te toa takitahi engari he toa takitini – We come together not with our own strengths, but bring with us the strengths of our iwi, hapu and whanau together for the benefit of Te Arawa iwi.
