An exciting new full time position has become available and we’re now on the lookout for an Operations Assistant to become part of our vibrant and expanding Te Arawa Mahi team in Rotorua.
Te Arawa Mahi has been providing employment opportunities within the seafood sector since 2014. We have paid out over $2.5 million dollars (gross) worth of wages directly to Te Arawa whānau in the past six years and as we move into a post COVID-19 world we are looking at how we can do even more! By partnering with more businesses both locally and regionally we will be able to provide opportunities to work, learn, and upskill our people.
Te Arawa Mahi currently recruits and employs people so they will be work ready. We currently transport staff to locations outside of Rotorua and ensure a safe working environment at all times – we are about our people and their future aspirations.
The Operations Assistant is a consultancy role with flexible working hours. Aspects of the role include:
- Client engagement
- Assisting with new business and managing existing clients
- Candidate enrolment/registration
- Organising shift work
- Booking transport (vans when required)
- The successful candidate will be computer literate with exceptional people skills.
